Museum Rental Spaces for Special Events and Meetings
The Salem Museum is the perfect venue for your intimate event! The Museum has a variety of unique galleries and meeting spaces, including a Green Roof overlooking Longwood Park. The Museum has hosted weddings, receptions, showers, graduation and anniversary parties, reunions, and corporate meetings and retreats. The 1845 Williams-Brown House makes for a memorable setting that adds a historic charm to every event held here.
The Museum can comfortably accommodate approximately 75 seated in rows, theatre style, or 40 seated around round tables. The Museum can host approximately 120 guests for a stand-up reception with minimal seating that takes place both in our community room and outside on the Green Roof.
Amenities include a kitchen for use by the caterer of your choice, handicapped accessibility and elevator, a screen and projector in the community room, plenty of parking, and the use of the Museum’s tables and chairs at no additional charge. Event hosts are required to acquire all necessary permits (such as ABC), and to remove decorations and clean the space used at the end of the event. Glitter, confetti, and flame candles are not permitted. The Museum does not provide linens.
